Altar’d State is a fast-fashion brand with a strong focus on giving back. They’ve grown organically for nearly ten years, focusing exclusively on their physical stores. But their digital presence was lacking the branded in-store atmosphere that customers had come to love. They needed to amplify the essence of the brand at every consumer touchpoint.

We translated Altar’d State’s unique style into a digital design language, making it possible to move effortlessly between Altar’d State and A’Beautiful Soul while honoring them as two distinct brands with the same mission to help make the world a better place.
Inspired by the visual merchandising of their stores, we layered page elements and featured products in a never-before-seen way to drive product discovery.
We exceeded expectations with a warm, welcoming experience that gives back.
ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES: Executive Creative Director: wrote and presented creative experience aspect of pitch, worked directly with clients on planning, execution and design, led workshops and initial presentations, guided vision and design, managed relationship and collaboration between disciplines, wrote Brand Experience Guide encompassing both Altar’d State and A’Beautiful Soul (there was no brand guide when we started), trained in-house design team, and cut some images for the developers :)
